6.5.1: Provide Broadcast Data Interface

This process shall receive data from the transportation information data collector function for traffic, transit, wayfinding, incident, weather, event, parking, multimodal travel services, border crossings, pricing, and other information. The collected information will be broadcast out to kiosks, personal devices, in-vehicle units, or to field equipment for distribution to vehicles. The information shall be broadcast at locally determined intervals. The content and rate of these messages shall be based upon parameters which are managed by the transportation information system operator.
